Steep Learning curve

This is only for the hardcore gamer. It is a beautifully designed game as are all the Total State of war series, but has the typical learning curve associated with the serial.

I have played it a number of times and cannot become very far earlier being wiped out. THe combination of diplomacy, mastery of sea/navy and mastery of arts always defeats me.

Hours of playing time involved also which can exist a plus or minus depending on your POV.

I accept played the ACW and ROME Total War serial also. Found the Rome one to be the least involved as far as learning curve. The ACW ane had a convulted chain of command and never really worked for me.

Don't set up what isn't cleaved!

After this latest update, the game has gotten rather laggy when attempting to use the same settings I've e'er had, and takes 5 times as long to fifty-fifty start up the awarding. And and so when I try to turn off the game for whatever reason, it locks up on a black screen with my cursor turning into an hourglass. I had to reset the computer to actually plough it off, for information technology was Withal trying to turn off afterwards Eight hours! We already had settings for graphics, there isn't a point to upgrading them! As the title says, quit trying to fix things that aren't broken, and that doesn't use to just this game. (I'm looking at you and your updates for ANYTHING, Apple Inc.!)

I have used Feral before on the Mac for Rome and Empire and take had no problems what so ever. Unfortunately with Shogun 2, I am hard pressed to get through an entire plough without information technology abruptly crashing for no apparent reason. Information technology tin can happen on the map, after a battle, it makes no divergence. I empathize games can have bug and computer prepare ups can be different. But after emailing Feral'due south support squad and leaving voicemails, I have recieved no response. Its been a few days and at that place has been cipher. From what I have played, the game is fantabulous as Total War games are, but this is unplayable and if goose egg can exist done I want my money back.
